I’m not overly a christmas person… I think if I still had my database with last years posts there’d be something similar written. It kind of reminds me of christmas past and the good and the bad and wondering why I wasted so much time on some people.
I’m not family (or friend) oriented in the slightest and am getting so of hearing ‘So spending christmas with your family?’ No, no I’m not! And I DON’T WANT TOO!

So this year I didn’t buy any presents or give any cards and aren’t really celebrating although, have decided to have home made pizza and calzone every year from now on :P They have been very tasty so far today, although my most recent Calzone kind of exploded *shrug* oh well!

In other news, my WP apparently hates some of my plugins… again it would not let me log into it without deleting all my plugins first (I promptly re-activated Akismet though because I can’t do without it :)).

And lastly, house mate helped me find vid and audio drivers for PC YAY! I never knew how much I missed 1024×768!! OK, maybe I did :P Might be a new layout in the future!

Seems like everyone has a wiki-something these days, it really surprises me how they’ve taken off. Are they a reliable source? I mean, can students you them as a credible source on assignments and whatnot? Anyway… that’s just been on my mind the last few days
One Wiki that has come to my attention is called SHOPwiki but more specifically the Home Furnishings and Decor section (yes, pretty pretty furniture at a high high price). One thing I looked at was the Bed Linens and Bedding Buying guide. It’s actually quite cute. It has descriptions of what things actually are… which leads me to a different question; in Australia most people use Doona’s on their beds but it doesn’t seem like they’re used in the US or that they’re called something different – Duvets apparently, huh, weird – onto words I’ve never heard before in relation to bedding… sham, a sham has always been a bit dodgy where I’m from :P
Ooh, I just found a section for Storage Benches for some reason I’ve always wanted one… unfortunately the page didn’t load correctly for me It says 6878 results – showing 1 through 15 but is blank… maybe this site doesn’t like FF? Which sucks because FF is going to take over the world one day and these sites will crumble – or hopefully, adapt.

I tried clicking on something else but alas it did not work either Maybe people are taking Wiki’s just a little bit too far.

Is it normal to feel sorry for your pizza delivery guy? Last night we decided to get pizza delivered and when the guy got here I let him have the 5 cents in change… yes CENTS! And he was super happy! He didn’t seem to believe that I’d part with my 5 cents to give to him.
He was probably old enough to be my Dad… I felt so sorry for him being excited that someone actually gave him something extra when we’d just spent $25 just on dinner

I guess it puts the world into perspective… I wonder if I should put a compliment in for him?

So, as some may know I recently got made redundant and had a tidy payout to decide what to do with. Part of my mind wanted to leave without a trace to some sunny location and live out my life… obviously that didn’t happen and it’s probably lucky I wasn’t aware of websites like this forRealty in Las Vegas and had no interest in Las Vegas Realtors. Who knows, I might have ended up in Las Vegas… ok, so I probably didn’t have enough money for that (especially now with the sucky exchange rate) but it’s nice to dream right?
Actually, this type of site might have been good when I was moving though. It has little profiles on realtors in the area, although some are better than others. One says “I will work very hard to meet all your Real Estate needs” … well obviously they’re going to say that. They’re REAL ESTATE AGENTS gah… but some are actually quite helpful.
So if you’re considering a move to a sunny location maybe you should give them a try (I’d probably got with Jody hee).

I rememeber a time when I didn’t use Akismet and the spam comments seemed normal… then I got used to the convenience of Akismet and it’s loverliness!! Right now i’m using Wireless Broadband which is mighty expensive and am only downloading things when neccesary so Akismet will have to wait but…

… only 1 week! Well, less then, apparently we should finally have ADSL2 on Thursday (joy!) With like a 200GB cap or something *drools* I can finally catch up on Gossip Girl… squee!!

I recently got back into playing Bully on my 360… I’m nearly finished YEAH! Only 1 more rubber band (which is like impossible to get!) and 1 more G&G card and they’re done YAY… still have missions but I’ve been focussing on rubberbands, cards and gnomes the last few days… very neat!

Anyhoo, must be off just thought I’d leave a quick update.
