Success!.
So, Mum really liked the Mothers Day stuff I bought/made for her. She was astonished about the necklace and earrings and couldn’t work out how the hell I did it… even when I tried to explain she still didn’t get it lol.
It was pretty great, my Scones came out of the oven just as she arrived so everything was timed perfectly and the cream *drools* tasty!
She (Mum) messaged later on Sunday night saying it was on of, if not the best Mothers Day she’s ever had! YAY, go me! Although, it was Josh’s idea so YAY him!
On a sadder note… both my fish died. I kinda forgot about them (when they were dead that is lol). I wasn’t overly surprised so I forget that it’s happened, they stopped eating and well, it was pretty inevitable. I’m kinda glad… burden free now (I know, thats terrible! But they were being right pains in the arse near the end).

That’s wonderful that you mom enjoyed her day so much! That would make me feel so proud. And about your fish…I think I had the same reaction as you when they died haha. I was glad they were gone so I didn’t have to worry about taking care of them anymore lol.
I’m glad your mum enjoyed Mothers’ Day! Our Mothers’ Day was on March 2nd, so it was a bit surreal coming online on the US/other places’ Mothers’ Day and realising they celebrated on a different day.

I had the same thing with mine. My mom was expecting nothing, because she didn’t want us to buy anything so she was really surprised when I got her a rather original gift, haha.
Anyhow, I’m sorry to hear about your fish, but well.. if they ended up being a pain in the ass, they’re probably at a better place now.
If you were looking for another pet, I would recommend you to take those walking sticks (I believe they’re called Phasmids?) as a pet, they really don’t take any work to keep alive, as long as you give them new leaves every month or so
