Hello, my loyal readers!
Edit: My booklist is updated! Only 6 to go
So I wanted to be safe and wait a week but decided instead now is the time *fingers crossed*. On Friday we bought some Oscar fish! I was so afraid they’d die quickly like the last ones but they seem to be thriving in our new tank. We have an albino one (who might be called Jango) and a Zebra one (who is called Zep but who I renamed Spectrum because I think Zep is a stupid name :P) who are ravenous beasts! Well, when it comes to food… they never want anything else… they’d be little gluttons if we let them! Luckily, for them, we don’t
So here’s hoping they survive… although they get big so fast it’s going to be hard to keep up with them.
So, you might have noticed my last post. Seems like Lazily is back in business! my first paid post since the ‘fresh start of 08′… so YAY to money
Also I have a little text ad to the right if anyone would like to click on it
Also site related, I think Despair is broke… the code is all glitchy which is ruining my sidebar! I don’t want to remove it though because hopefully it’ll be working soonish.
Did I mention in my last post that I finally have season 3 of Veronica Mars? I finally know who the Hearst Rapist was and that Duncan and Veronica broke up… EEEEE! Obviously, she’s not with Weevil (even if my heart desires it) but still… boo to Logan! Sleeping with Madison? Eww!
On the Veronica Mars front, Season one is finally available to buy in Australia!! Only 4 years after it was on TV and all… not too long
I’ve also seen that the second season will be out in September hurrah!
My only issue is if they’ll release Season 3… it’s never been aired in its entirety here so I’m afraid the TV station that was airing it will be a pain in the arse and not release it and that woul just be sad face
see?
Lastly, and only because Menewsh stole my soul, I’m going to plug Menewsha again (if you join say Kalliste sent you! and then friend Kalliste) because I am it’s loyal servant
XOXO...

Hello, my loyal readers!
In a world where the poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer it’s nice to know there are still people out there who will give their fortunes away to improve anothers life.
Over at the Kauffman Foundation they are putting money towards new initiatives and more education to make people financially independent. They offer a range of entrepreneurship opportunities for people in the community. The Kauffman Foundation holds and finances seminars to educate people on how to get the most out of their life and how to move forward and make money - which I’m sure everyone would love… I know I would! - they provide training on pushing your business to the next level and making a more successful you and hopefully you’ll see the entrepreneur within!
The foundation offers a college entrepreneurship and also minority entrepreneurship dependent on your needs and wants in life.
Through this education and training the Kauffman Foundation have changed the lives of many people and you could be next. Take a look at their incredibly informative website to see if the Kauffman Foundation can benefit you… unfortunately, for me they’re based in Kansas City which is much to far for me to swim
but fortunately due to the beauty of the internet I can look at what they offer online.

Hello, my loyal readers!
Over the course of the weekend I downloaded Firefox *squee* and The GIMP (what a sucky name? really? Gimp?) Hurrah! It’s been so long since I’ve had FireFox so I’m glad to have it’s company again. The Gimp on the other hand I have never had before, I’ve looked at it a few times but while I had Photoshop never took the time to download it.
Did I mention here that I had to format my PC? Well I did, and since then my Photoshop doesn’t work *cries* (I have a partitioned drive, PS was on a different partition to Windows). The Gimp is really not so bad, I quite like it… takes a while to get used to and I haven’t sorted out transparency yet
but I do like some of the features it has that PS doesn’t… plus IT’S FREE!
So speaking FF, now that the PC has profiles (before Josh and I used to share) I’ve finally installed it because Josh used to whinge at me for even mentioning it before… the difference is this version of FF has an inbuilt spell checker which I mentioned… now Josh is also using FF! It took me years to even download it and now he’s decided “Oh hey, this is really quite good” >:(Oh well, plus side we’re all happy
In other events, have I told y’all about my house mate? He’s slightly wacky (which may in fact be an understatement). One of the specifics is being environmentally friendly… he thinks he’s good to the earth because he recycles (although mainly stuff that isn’t recyclable) meanwhile yesterday he had both the lights on, the dryer, his computer with MP3s blaring, the heater and the TV (with DVD on pause) on and where was he while all of this was happening? Outside having a cigarette! He does this junk all the time, it’s so frustrating… like in the morning he’ll get up, turn the heater, TV and his computer on. Make a cup of coffee and go out side to smoke for the next 30 minutes… why? Who knows!
He also opens the blinds for all the world to see us so most of the heat seeps out the windows anyway!
Yes, he drives me insane.
recently, he has decided he has a phobia of getting lost… uh,huh
Now that I’ve ranted that out
There’s not much left to say… on a happy note though, I just found out my libraries loans out sci fi dvd’s!! (seems like it’s only sci fi and occasionally reality for some reason) so I’ve requested all these things… I’m 1st in the queue for many but people are taking their time!! Come on people!! You’re not the only ones that want to see this stuff
Ok, so I’m going to finish here… really
XOXO...
