I wouldn't say your site looks like you don't know too much about what you're doing. It works really well. It's readable and well put together.

The colour scheme is really halloweeny, but whatever! It works! :P

Usually when i'm stuck with sometime & google doesn't cooperate, i head over to the item's support forum i've been known to ask the odd question around the wordpress forum haha!

Oh man, I used to run a forum and customizing it to look exactly the way I wanted it look was such a pain. I gave up eventually when it wasn't active and I was too lazy anyway. Good riddance. haha Good luck with your boyfriend's though.

PHP has never been my forte either, but I am working on it. It's going to take for me to mess around with my site more and to create more themes before I even remotely get the hang of it. Right now I am relying on previously written WordPress code and Google. :P It's okay, it's a learning process and you're never to old or young to learn something new.

If you use the CMS e-107 they have a forum included as a plug in I think, and then you can display stuff in the sidebar etc. But that's all I can help with..

I love learning stuff and giving advice. I used to be on lots of newbie forums and shit, so I was good at it. But now I just blog etc for myself. So I can't really help anyone. lol

It depends on if you're using wordpress or not, but they have a plugin to help include it in the sidebar located @ http://www.delphiarea.com/products/wordpress-plug…

That being said, if you want to do it without wordpress, I'll honestly have to look around a bit more– and don't be discouraged, trust me when I say that everyone has bad days with coding, and there are always going to be people that are both better than you, and some that are worse than you– that's just how things go. You've always got room to improve, but in that, you'll never get bored with webdesign.
