Why is it that the iPod brought Apple back to the popular market? How is it superior to other brands of MP3 players? For me, it takes over my PC with a program I don’t want and has to convert my MP3′s into another format before I can listen to them… why would I bother?

It’s so strange that something like that has pushed Mac forward to such products as the iPhone, which I’ve heard isn’t all that great but it has SO MANY add-ons and accessories that people must have them all! This is something I don’t understand: aluminium iPhone Cases! If I’ve spent that much on a phone I want it to be invincible damnit!! And I’d feel kinda stupid having a phone with aluminium casing, wouldn’t you?

Then you can go up market and get a iPhone Leather Case or a iPhone Headset. The sky is, basically, the limit. While little accessories are fun, I really like my phone to come with everything it needs… why would I weigh it down with an extra case? It makes me think we’re in the 90′s again when mobiles had just come out and EVERYONE (who had a phone) had poxy cases for them. I think we’ve moved passed that haven’t we?

I think the real reason I hate the ‘i’ craze is that it is so damn hard to find other things. I refuse to have an ‘i’ anything because a)I hate how they look and b)they are way overpriced!

SO people, come and join me on the anti-i bandwagon! :D

Is it weird that when I saw this site for Air Canada Centre Tickets I thought it was air fairs? But no, I guess that shows my knowledge of Canada… I guess Degrassi has taught me nothing! So disappointed.
So, I’ve been looking through this site and got totally confused! Then I realised it was for both American and Canadian arena’s lol. I was thinking ‘wow, how many arenas does Canada have!! I want to move right now!’
One thing I was looking at was St. Pete Times Forum Tickets and noticed the Eagles are playing there… I thought they played their last show like a zillion years ago? I mean… what’s up with comeback tours?
The last thing I noticed before getting bored were the Izod Center tickets… why is it called the Izod centre? What is an Izod? Other than an ugly arena in New Jersey, that is.

Sites like this make me sad that we get next to no events in Canberra… very very sad :( So for all of those out there who get to go to events.. what has your favourite been? And what was a waste of money?
Luckily, I haven’t paid for many places I’ve gone… and they’ve all been excellent (well mostly) and now I’m nostalgic for the past!

Although, it’s very much bundle based and VOIP… I have some reservations about VOIP… yes, free/cheaper calls and the like but it uses your internet connection right? I don’t like that component… you still have to pay line rental for a phone line that you don’t really want… which is why we didn’t opt for VOIP.
Regardless of my reservations I was directed to the website under the promise that gotalk provides cheap broadband plans, home phone & voip services but I don’t know… only 9GB of internet a month? Yikes, no thanks! And their best ADSL2+ plan is only 60GB (the one we decided on is more than 3 times that and only costs $10 more). They do have cheap broadband plans but their plans aren’t much better than better known companies in Australia (not that I’m suggesting anyone ever join up with BigPond… DON’T DO IT! Seriously, choose Gotalk… we love Gotalk lol) although I can’t see that they charge for uploads which is a YAY!

If you want to try a something new though and are interested in VOIP plans then why not give them a shot? If you can get away from the evils of Telstra and Optus why not right? Be aware though that their bundles are much more ‘value for money’ than anything else… line rental is a bit pricey!

All in all, I’d suggest getting Cable with VOIP if I wanted to try it though *sigh* if only I could get Cable internet lol

Are they a reliable source? I mean, can students you them as a credible source on assignments and whatnot? Anyway… that’s just been on my mind the last few days :)
One Wiki that has come to my attention is called SHOPwiki but more specifically the Home Furnishings and Decor section (yes, pretty pretty furniture at a high high price). One thing I looked at was the Bed Linens and Bedding Buying guide. It’s actually quite cute. It has descriptions of what things actually are… which leads me to a different question; in Australia most people use Doona’s on their beds but it doesn’t seem like they’re used in the US or that they’re called something different – Duvets apparently, huh, weird – onto words I’ve never heard before in relation to bedding… sham, a sham has always been a bit dodgy where I’m from :P
Ooh, I just found a section for Storage Benches for some reason I’ve always wanted one… unfortunately the page didn’t load correctly for me :( It says 6878 results – showing 1 through 15 but is blank… maybe this site doesn’t like FF? Which sucks because FF is going to take over the world one day and these sites will crumble – or hopefully, adapt.

I tried clicking on something else but alas it did not work either :( Maybe people are taking Wiki’s just a little bit too far.

Part of my mind wanted to leave without a trace to some sunny location and live out my life… obviously that didn’t happen and it’s probably lucky I wasn’t aware of websites like this forRealty in Las Vegas and had no interest in Las Vegas Realtors. Who knows, I might have ended up in Las Vegas… ok, so I probably didn’t have enough money for that (especially now with the sucky exchange rate) but it’s nice to dream right?
Actually, this type of site might have been good when I was moving though. It has little profiles on realtors in the area, although some are better than others. One says “I will work very hard to meet all your Real Estate needs” … well obviously they’re going to say that. They’re REAL ESTATE AGENTS gah… but some are actually quite helpful.
So if you’re considering a move to a sunny location maybe you should give them a try (I’d probably got with Jody hee).
