Sometimes, you just have to deal…

A few days ago I realised I owned ‘How to Deal’ which is a movie I love but didn’t realise I’d bought! So Last night I watched it, a few things happened after this (a few of which happen everytime I watch How To Deal):

1. I got sad, this movie makes me sad for some reason… maybe because I want to be Mandy Moore in this? Who knows? I definately don’t want to be Scarlett though!!
2. I get re-aquanted with my Trent Ford obsession! Gosh, he’s beautiful… I try to track him down a lot after watching this movie, unfortunately he’s not doing so much recently ๐Ÿ™
3. I realised it was based on a book. Why have I never looked into this before? I assumed it would based on a book, in fact it is based on 2… one of which I have read!! Can you believe it? I didn’t even freaking realise lol I’m so stupid! Then again, it’s kind of a squish of 2 of Sarah Dessen’s books so I didn’t know the entire story but seriously with character names like Halley, Scarlett and Macon I should have realised! I’ve requested both of them from the library!

Speaking of books, I borrowed the 4th Gossip Girl book today. Yes, the show may be over for the season but the books (and fanfiction) still remain. Initially, I didn’t like the books… I wasn’t sure I would read more than the first but I love how they’re kinda like a TV show. Everything focuses on 1 event in time rather than a period of a few months or years. I like that, I like that about TV too.
So I’ve begun reading “Because I’m worth it”, overall I feel sorry for Jenny… poor big boobed Jenny ๐Ÿ˜€ On topic of the GG books I love the covers, I love that you never see their faces… I believe there was a re-release of the first one that has Blake Lively and Leighton Meester on it and it kinda sucks… you see them both and it’s just no mystery. The originals were much cooler!

Now that I’ve written like crazy I will end on a few points ๐Ÿ™‚

1. I’ve been deemed Super Moderator of a forum. My new forum-y home ๐Ÿ™‚ Go find me over at LasciviousMB (my username is Kalliste!). It’s very post crazy and there’s some great, unique games so go check it out ๐Ÿ™‚
2. Melissa (or Princess Melissa as she likes to be known) has pushed me in the direction of Menusha, it’s kind of hard to explain… virtual world? Mix of WhuddleWorld and Gaia I suppose but you earn gold by posting in their forums… unfortunatel the forums can be a bit dull so come and stalk Melissa (comotized) and me (Kaliste) and wreak some havoc! ๐Ÿ™‚

Ahh I love watching Gossip Girl! Never tried reading the books, though. Anyway, I WAS frigging pissed about the job! It took me 1 week to get over it. Even now, each time I pass by the office building I'd put up a finger. Just to make myself feel better. hahahah

The movie had a much happier ending than the book. I enjoyed the book though. I never read That Summer but I LOVE Someone Like You. If you can, you should definitely read it.

Sounds like what I do every time I watch a few choice movies – I completely forget about them, and then watch them again as if it's the first time and later find myself utterly amazed that I could completely forget about them to begin with.

I don't think I've ever seen how to deal! I will have to look into it. I've heard of it, but I don't even know what it's about. Generally, I think Mandy Moore is an alright actress. I like her best in Because I Said So. Yes, I'll have to look for the movie of which you speak!

I FINALLY came back here. I've been neglecting my own site a lot too, so it's no wonder I've neglected others. Yikes.

Congrats on becoming staff of Lascivious! I haven't seen you around Bijoux much lately, so I miss you!

Sarah!!! I've missed you too! We have to get on aim sometime again and chat!

Trent Ford is HOT, I loved How to deal just for that fact haha. I have the books from the movie, my favorite of the two is Someone Like You. They're both really awesome though.

And gossip girl too? Yay! The books are definitely different, I HATE the TV show Jenny but LOVE the book Jenny heh. Go figure.

I love Mandy Moore. I've never seen that movie though I think I'll pick it up somewhere.

I really don't even know who Trent Ford is, lol.

  9. Marsha says:

I want to watch How To Deal now. I don't remember watching it, lol.

I've been reading lots lately too, I've not seen or read any Gossip Girl. People seem to like it a lot though. I might give it a try one day.
