Another month, another performance review… I seem to get lots of these… ok, 2 in 5 months which is more than most at my workplace it seems. Although, the upside is I seem to be one of 2 people getting pushed into more senior positions.
So it’s crunch time! The boss is on leave and so now all the eyes are on me (well, the big bosses are targeting the sales consultants so that’s good). Time to shine! Which I believe I will :)

On the home-front, we bought some new fish. It was a hard decision but I hope it is a good one. We ended up with 3 Silver Sharks and 1 Red Finned Shark… plus the feeder fish (I call him Feedy). Anyone know what breed of fish a small Feeder Fish is? I kinda wanna know how big he’ll get.

Ohh, cute cat who I now call Chesh is pretty much endlessly at our house. In fact, the weather outside is terrible and he’s sitting at the door. I wish I could bring him in but I can’t :( I’m sorry Chesh… one day I’ll get a photo, he’s such an adorable (if weird) kitty… when I pick him up (he dashes inside whenever he gets the chance and refuses to leave) he swings himself around so that we’re face to face and his paws are around my neck like a hug! It’s so weird but kind of adorable!

Now I shall leave you as I go into another 3 day weekend YAY! If only I had some chocolate.

Yesterday we had this crazy dust storm… I don’t know if I’ve ever seen anything like it before. Initially, I grumbled because I mistakenly took the haze to be cloud rather than dusty haze. Then, I grumbled because for the next 6 hours everything smelt and tasted like dirt. Blech.
Hmm, I just read an article about the storm and how scientists have taken samples to ‘see what is living in it’… gross, I was eating that shit yesterday!

We have been visited by another friendly neighbourhood cat. This was is orange and kind of reminds me of the Cheshire Cat… it’s ever so soft and cuddly but very very hairy. As per other cat visits it just strutted right on into the kitchen without hesitating… something about our house attracts random cats. It is very cute though!

On a less cute note… on Easter Sunday we decided to kill our beloved Oscar fish – who has the very original name of Oscar – poor guy, something got a hold of him and it was just devastating to watch our lively little fish get so sick. I had hoped he would get better but just couldn’t watch him suffer anymore :( Bye bye Oscar.
There is a possibility we’ll get another (being that we have an, almost, empty 4ft tank now – there is a lone survivor. A feeder fish has lived 2 months in the tank somehow and outlived Oscar. I really have no idea how it accomplished this feat – I just wonder if we could get an equally awesome fish as Oscar) but not sure… this time at least he could have some tank mates instead of just eating everything.

Anyway, I’m off to devour some chocolate bunny ears. Have fun friends… oh and I apologise for leaving you with a paid post. Horrible, I know.

OH… AND go check out http://watch-gossip-girl.com I’m an episode reviewer over there again YAY!

One thing I wonder everytime I see an iPod is why they are so much more popular than any other brand? Why is it that the iPod brought Apple back to the popular market? How is it superior to other brands of MP3 players? For me, it takes over my PC with a program I don’t want and has to convert my MP3′s into another format before I can listen to them… why would I bother?

It’s so strange that something like that has pushed Mac forward to such products as the iPhone, which I’ve heard isn’t all that great but it has SO MANY add-ons and accessories that people must have them all! This is something I don’t understand: aluminium iPhone Cases! If I’ve spent that much on a phone I want it to be invincible damnit!! And I’d feel kinda stupid having a phone with aluminium casing, wouldn’t you?

Then you can go up market and get a iPhone Leather Case or a iPhone Headset. The sky is, basically, the limit. While little accessories are fun, I really like my phone to come with everything it needs… why would I weigh it down with an extra case? It makes me think we’re in the 90′s again when mobiles had just come out and EVERYONE (who had a phone) had poxy cases for them. I think we’ve moved passed that haven’t we?

I think the real reason I hate the ‘i’ craze is that it is so damn hard to find other things. I refuse to have an ‘i’ anything because a)I hate how they look and b)they are way overpriced!

SO people, come and join me on the anti-i bandwagon! :D
