Back to the Beginning.
Edit: Fixed the smilies. YAY!
If you’re a returning visitor you might have noticed something’s not quite right… well different anyhow 
(my smilies might not work either… that something I’ll have to work on).
You see, there’s been a bit of drama within my online world and the end result is my host changing to another company to host us… initially my old db got left behind. My host was very accomodating in helping me get it back but in the end I decided I didn’t want it back… I can’t believe how much neater my site looks without a bunch of archives lining up the sidebar! So yes, I’ve started semi fresh, luckily my host has been great and moved all my other stuff for me and put in all my themes into WordPress… making it VERY easy for me Plus now I have a new version of WP and it looks neat!! So swish!
All this drama though has made me a bit down… even though it hasn’t hit me as hard as others involved it still upsets me.
What I’ve learnt though is that sometimes people do the wrong thing and perhaps they should think about the consequences of that rather than expecting something for nothing.
Another thing I’ve learnt is it’s probably easier in the long run to take your share of the blame.
I was terrified I’d be gone too. I haven’t been in contact with my host in quite a while and felt terrible mooching off her and just expecting her to host me even though I contribute $0 to my space. Luckily, she’s ok with that and is more than happy to host me *phew*
SO what does this newness mean for me? I’m hoping to produce a better site with more than a blog… I’ve said that a million times before and perhaps nothing will change but I’m invisioning something better! And less cluttered with archives… and maybe some tags… this WP has TAGS! 
Anyway… lets hope this posts ok

Welcome back to the online realm! I’m glad things worked out smoothly for you! And I’m glad you’re back. I’ve linked you to my site as well. I too, am hoping to have more than just a blog on my site, though we know I need a place to share my thoughts, too. Ah well!
I’m glad the drama is dying down too, so we can continue to build on the friendships we’ve started! Yay!

Good luck on making it the way you want. I know I keep saying I’m going to do something different with my site too, but never wind up with the time to. SO I hope you have better luck with it than me.
